Colonial Revival

The sense of neighborhood claims it's borders over the years by streetcar and bus lines using east 6th Avenue and East 8th Avenue. The old town of Harman boarded the district on East 6th between Josephine and Colorado Boulevard. The district lies on the southern edge of Capital Hill as a result the location spared it the wrecking ball in the mid 1960's.

Architecture Designs
Many of the 7th Avenue residences were favored by the wealthy during the post victorian era 1890-1918. The homes built were of the Neo Classical, Colonial Revival and Mediterranean Revival styles. Between World War I and World War II the district was the first to bring about both the Art Deco and Art Moderne styles to Denver.
